Each year I ride with my family members that have faced cancer, in my heart. Gramma Terrill, who beat breast cancer in the 1920's, Grammy Lillian who lost her battle with breast cancer at 34 in the 1940's, leaving Mom and Auntie Barbara orphans at 13 & 15, Mom, losing her battle with breast cancer at 43 in the 1970's, Auntie Barbara lost her battle with ovarian cancer in the 1990's, Dad and my brother Don, both beat bladder cancer, and last but not least my beloved pooch, Pete who lost his battle to a brain tumor.
We are a very lucky community to have the Dempsey Center here in Maine, so that folks no longer have to fight this battle alone.
Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page for the 2017 Dempsey Challenge! I’m participating in the Dempsey Challenge to spread hope, raise funds and awareness, and support everyone who is impacted by cancer. Please consider supporting me in my efforts by making a donation; no amount is too small to make a difference!
Every dollar of your donation directly benefits the Dempsey Center, a leader in quality of life care for individuals and families impacted by cancer. All free of charge.
