Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page for the 2019 Dempsey Challenge!
As you know, the lives of those whom I love have been affected by cancer. My own daughter has struggled with thyroid cancer. I never met my maternal grandmother because she succumbed to cancer the month before I was born. All three of my mother's siblings were lost to the disease. Countless other friends have had their lives touched in some way by it.
Last year, I rode my bicycle for 100K, a "metric century" or around 65 miles for the Dempsey Challenge, raising money for the Dempsey Center, a Maine-based nonprofit organization with locations in Lewiston and South Portland. Last year, I vowed to ride the full century, 100 miles, this year.
The Dempsey Center makes life better for people managing the impact of cancer by easing the side effects of cancer through complementary therapies, counseling and other support services for individuals and families.
Please support me in my fundraising efforts by making a donation. Any amount you can give makes a difference!
Every dollar of your donation directly benefits cancer patients, survivors and their families.
Thank you for your support!
