Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page for the 2019 Dempsey Challenge!
I’m running in the Dempsey Challenge on September 28th, joining thousands of other people dedicated to supporting the Dempsey Center’s mission of improving the quality of life of people impacted by cancer. I’ll be running a 10K alongside thousands of other participants to support their work with individuals and families impacted by cancer.
I’m doing this in remembrance of my father, Rick Manning, who recently passed away after months of debilitating pain caused by cancer. The Dempsey Center serves to help people like my dad manage through the lasting side effects of cancer and maintain hope in the face of debilitating outcomes that can impact nearly every moment of the day. As a son, and a professional in the field of cancer rehabilitation, I know the power of these services and only wish they had been available to my father.
I’ve set a new fundraising goal of $2000. Every dollar of your donation directly benefits the people who use Dempsey Center services at no cost.
Thanks in advance for your support!
